Success, like happiness, cannot be pursued. It must ensue.
I have always been one to think that happiness is what success looks like on the inside. I believed that happiness was a feeling of contentment and peace, but now I know it’s not just about being happy with life in general. It’s also about achieving your goals and aspirations. Happiness does not mean getting all you want in life or having all your dreams come true. Happiness means finding fulfillment in your day-to-day even when things are hard, especially when things are hard because this proves you’re tougher than others who give up at the first sign of difficulty.
Success, like happiness, cannot be pursued. It must ensue. – Viktor Frankl
You have to make success happen for yourself by choosing happiness every day and taking advantage of opportunities when they come your way – though not all opportunities are easy to recognize at first glance. Hence, you need a good amount of self-awareness to succeed in the right way. You have to let life run its course, and you have to be mindful and be there to make slight adjustments to your path. Let the path take you to success. You can’t just get there magically; success doesn’t happen like that. It takes years of hard work and commitment. When we see successful people, their success seems overnight. If you ask them, they will strongly disagree. Success doesn’t come overnight. Success can’t be pursued. You have to focus on your path and journey. You have to have faith that when you work hard and focus on your journey, it will take you to success.
