Anyone who has read ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’ knows why the above quote by Anne Frank is so powerful. It’s not being said by some politician sitting on a lush sofa, smoking a cigar with a glass of wine. This was said by someone who with witnessed the horrors of the holocaust.

Her saying that having courage and faith means you’ll never perish in misery is something that really moved me.
