Any decision is better than no decision
One of the key lessons from my father that I have always adhered to is that any decision is better than no decision. Indecision is fatal, and I make decisions fast. I’m often wrong, but making changes along the way is much easier than getting stuck at ground zero.
How to make fast decisions?
Use whatever facts you have at that moment to make the best decision; make a note to find more facts later. Once you get more facts, you can either make changes or stick to what you decided if that was the correct decision. Understand that you’ll make mistakes, be ready for changes. Arrogantly sticking to decisions is as deadly. Move fast, break things, be ready to make changes.
Making decisions is hard, but a ‘bad decision’ outweighs no decision every time.
As you learn, you will even start to make good decisions.
