5 Points that sum up the psychology behind copywriting
We have been working on changing the website copy and our overall brand language at Rocket.net. The copy on the website was written with the technical customer in mind and as we move more and more towards agency customers, we are changing up our copy to resonate more with those types of customers.
While doing some research on how to think about copywriting and how the psychology behind it works, I came across these 5 points by Blair Warren, 27 words of persuasion to make the world do your bidding as the author says.
They are simple, yet profound. I found them very helpful in thinking through what I write. I wish to implement them more going forward.
Here are those words.
People will do anything for those who
Encourage their dreams
Justify their failures
Allay their fears
Confirm their suspicions
And help throw rocks at their enemies
